The City of Angels experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Local events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
